KU 2208-GL Domestic Phytium Server

The Jinpin KU 2208-GL is a self-developed, secure and controllable rack server based on the high-performance domestic Phytium S2500 processor. The Phytium S2500 chip integrates 128 new generation high-performance processor cores FTC663 independently developed by Phytium. The chip adopts the on-chip parallel system (PSoC) architecture, which integrates efficient processor cores, large-scale consistent storage structure based on data affinity, and hierarchical two-dimensional Mesh interconnection network, optimizing storage access latency. It provides leading computing performance, memory bandwidth, and IO expansion capability in the industry. It is compatible with the 64-bit ARMV8 instruction set, supports hardware virtualization, and integrates system-level security mechanisms. It can meet the performance and security requirements of complex application scenarios and supports commercial and industrial quality grades.

Powerful performance:

The KU 2208-GL is a 2U dual-processor server based on the new generation Phytium S2500 processor, with up to 128 cores. The TDP of a single processor is 136W, and the frequency is up to 2.1GHz, with a single-core 64MB L3 cache and 32MB L2 cache, which provides the server with high processing performance. It supports 16 DDR4 DIMM memory slots, and the memory capacity can support up to 1TB.

Flexible expansion:

It supports 8 hot-swappable 3.5/2.5-inch hard disks, 2 built-in 2.5-inch non-hot-swappable hard disk slots, and optional rear 2 hot-swappable 2.5-inch hard disk slots. It provides 6 standard PCIe 3.0 expansion slots, supports various PCIe expansion cards such as RAID cards, HBA cards, network cards, and can be used to further improve IO performance.

Secure and controllable:

It supports the PSPA 1.0 security standard, supports domain-isolated security mechanisms, and integrates ROM as the trusted boot root. It supports domestically developed secure operating systems such as Galaxy Kylin and UOS, which have strong cross-platform compatibility and high security.

Intelligent management:

Based on the user-friendly design concept, it can achieve maintenance without tools. By enhancing and optimizing some structural components, it can achieve rapid disassembly and assembly, greatly reducing operation and maintenance time. The server is equipped with domestically developed BIOS and BMC, and can monitor hardware system parameters in real-time through the web management interface, issue warning messages in advance, so that technical personnel can take corresponding measures. The fault range can also be quickly located through the indicator lights on the front panel, simplifying maintenance work, accelerating the problem-solving speed, and ensuring stable operation of the machine.
